Ancient Godly Monarch Chapter 2047 - Offering Congratulations to the King of Gods
Previously on Ancient Godly Monarch...
Mo Qingcheng gave a sweet, tearful smile. Her eyes remained locked on the white-robed figure standing before her. “You have not asked if I’m willing to marry you or not?”
“In that case, are you willing?” Qin Wentian asked, a smile playing on his lips.
Mo Qingcheng tilted her head back, gazing at the vibrant rainbows stretching across the firmament. “I’m willing…!” she shouted.
Her cry resonated through the open space. The pair spoke as if the rest of the world had vanished, leaving the onlookers in a stunned silence. No one dared to utter a word. The two immortals, in particular, looked incredibly displeased.
“Senior, I’m sorry. I already have someone I love. Hence, I can only thank you for your kind intentions.” Mo Qingcheng turned her beautiful eyes toward the two immortals. She was fully prepared to face whatever consequences might follow her refusal.
“Do you know who are you rejecting?” the middle-aged woman asked coldly. Her voice carried a heavy pressure that made everyone feel as though they were being suffocated.
“Qingcheng, you are crazy!” The members of the Mo Residence finally snapped out of their shock and hurried forward. Her second uncle glared at Qin Wentian, roaring in a fit of rage, “You are courting death!”
Qin Wentian shifted his gaze toward Mo Qingcheng’s second uncle. With a tranquil expression, he spoke calmly, “I don’t wish to hurt you. So, it’s best that you stand at the side and watch quietly.”
“You…” Trembling with fury, the second uncle pointed a finger at him. “You madman, you have brought ruin to my Mo Residence. Twenty years ago, you were already waiting outside our clan for Qingcheng to be born. Could it be you were waiting for today? Isn’t that too ridiculous? You are simply too despicable.”
“I told you to stand at the side and watch quietly,” Qin Wentian repeated with a serious tone. He cast a brief glance over. In that instant, Mo Qingcheng’s second uncle felt as if his very soul had been frozen solid. Drenched in cold sweat, he could only stare at Qin Wentian in shock. Clearly, this man was no ordinary person; it explained why the years had left no mark on him.
“I don’t care who you are. If you scram now, I won’t kill you.” The young suitor glared at Qin Wentian with a dark, malevolent expression. His tone was condescending, as if he were granting a great mercy. His parents had traveled to this particle world specifically to propose this marriage, yet now their family’s reputation was being publicly insulted.
Qin Wentian glanced at him briefly before looking away. This total lack of regard made the young man feel as though he didn't even exist in Qin Wentian’s eyes. Furthermore, the white-robed man’s extraordinary handsomeness sparked a flash of murderous intent in the youth's heart.
“Kill him,” the young man commanded viciously. He directed his order toward the golden condor, his parents' mount. The beast let out a piercing screech, raising its sharp talons as it stepped forward.
Suddenly, Little Rascal leaped from Mo Qingcheng’s arms. His form underwent a rapid transformation, expanding in size as he erupted with brilliant golden light. Within moments, he towered over the golden condor, radiating an absolute kingly aura. The invisible pressure from his gaze made everyone’s hearts throb with fear.
The golden condor began to shake uncontrollably, its legs buckling under the weight of the pressure. With a soft thud, it collapsed and groveled on the earth. It wasn't just the condor; every demonic beast in the vicinity was suddenly prostrating. They trembled in terror, facing Little Rascal as if paying homage to their sovereign.
“I told you to kill him. Trash,” the young man barked at the cowering condor. His parents narrowed their eyes, their immortal senses sweeping over the terrifying beast that was Little Rascal. They realized something was terribly wrong. This creature had only released a fraction of its aura, yet it forced all other beasts into submission.
“Little Rascal?” Mo Qingcheng watched the scene in disbelief. She had played with this little fellow since her childhood. Was that snowy puppy actually a powerful greater demon?
The Mo Clan members were similarly stunned. Their eyes moved to Qin Wentian. The second uncle spoke coldly, “So you truly had malicious intent.”
“We are from the Qilian Immortal Sect of the Azure Mystic Immortal Realm. I wonder who sir might be?” the two immortals asked, their attention now focused entirely on Qin Wentian.
Qin Wentian ignored them completely. Looking at Mo Qingcheng, he smiled tenderly. “Qingcheng. I still remember two years ago you once told me that the person whom you want to marry would have to summon true dragons and divine phoenixes, arrange a grand procession for ten thousand miles, with rainbows filling the skies as well as having many phenomenons manifesting in the heavens and I said that the person who marries you would surely arrange for a grand procession, even the upper worlds would be notified and all heavenly deities and divine beasts would attend. Phenomenons would appear in the sky, the nine heavenly layers would resonate together and all the supreme experts from all the immortal realms would come by to offer their congratulations.”
Mo Qingcheng’s eyes brightened as she listened. She remembered those words well, but she had always assumed it was merely a beautiful fantasy.
“As long as the person who marries me is you, everything else doesn’t matter,” she replied, smiling through her tears.
“But I will naturally have to accomplish the things I promised you.” Qin Wentian’s gaze was filled with deep affection. The onlookers felt their hearts tremble. Had he lost his mind? His claims were beyond belief. Who could possibly orchestrate such a grand spectacle?
Qin Wentian looked up at the firmament and spoke softly, “Split the sky.”
With a single glance, the heavens began to quake. A pillar of divine light tore through the sky, and boundless, multicolored radiance poured down from the horizon. Beams of light erupted from Qin Wentian’s location, shooting out in every direction. To their astonishment, the people saw that these beams acted as windows to other worlds. They could see grand cities, powerful Sects, and floating palaces. Were these the upper worlds?
Thirty-three beams represented the thirty-three immortal realms. As these lights pierced the heavens, countless inhabitants of those realms looked up, seeing the reflection of this small particle world.
(Arrange for a grand procession, even the upper worlds would be notified.)
Another beam of light cut through the air above the particle world, followed by roars that shook the earth. Five-clawed golden dragons descended on the wind, followed by phoenixes wreathed in divine flames. Kirins galloped across the clouds while golden crows cried out. A multitude of divine saint beasts began to pour out from the upper worlds into the sky. Their numbers were impossible to count.
The inhabitants of the particle world watched with trembling bodies. What was happening?
The saint beasts descended and began to circle high above the Mo Residence in a massive, spiraling formation. The experts from the Qilian Immortal Sect felt their bodies go numb. The two immortals felt their hearts pounding with pure terror.
“Miracle, is this a miracle?” Many fell to their knees in awe, deeply moved by the sight.
However, the majority of gazes were fixed on Qin Wentian. With a look, he had opened the heavens, connected the immortal realms, and summoned divine beasts. He had fulfilled his promise.
Mo Qingcheng stared at the scene, her eyes wet with tears of disbelief. She wondered if she was caught in a dream.
Suddenly, numerous figures began to descend from the sky. Each one radiated a terrifyingly powerful aura, looking like ancient deities. Even powerful devil experts were among them.
Across the upper worlds, people watched the events in the particle world with expressions of deep reverence. They knew exactly who Qin Wentian was. He was the god in whom all living beings placed their faith.
The two immortals were shaking so violently they could hardly stand. Any one of the figures appearing—or even the demonic beasts—was so powerful that the greatest masters of their Sect would have to kneel before them.
These were beings they could never hope to encounter. The gap in status was astronomical. Who was this young man in white?
“Who is he?” many wondered silently. The Mo Clan members were asking the same thing. It all felt too surreal.
“Demon God Mountain leads all saint beasts and demonic beasts in the Supreme Ancient Immortal Realms Desolate Region to offer our congratulations for the Ancient Godly Monarch. We pay our respects to the king of gods.” Every demon lowered its head in submission. Whether they were saint beasts or demonic beasts, they were all profoundly respectful. The man before them was the Ancient Godly Monarch; even their demon sovereigns struggled to gain an audience with him. To be allowed to offer their congratulations was a supreme honor.
“Congratulations to the king of gods.”
“Congratulations to the Ancient Godly Monarch.” In the sky, the deity-level experts bowed as if they were on a holy pilgrimage.
“Godking Palace of the Supreme Ancient Immortal Realms offers our congratulations to the Ancient Godly Monarch.” Within the reflection of the Supreme Ancient Immortal Realms, the countless members of the Godking Palace bowed in unison.
“Heaven Empyrean Palace of Azure Mystic offers our congratulations to the king of gods.” Every branch of the Heaven Empyrean Palace followed suit.
“Cao Clan of the Blazing Sun Immortal Realms offers our congratulations to the king of gods.” In another vision, the members of the Cao Clan knelt. As direct subordinates of the Ancient Godly Monarch, the Godking Palace and Heaven Empyrean Palace were even more fervent in their displays of respect.
“Donghuang Clan of the Eastern Royal Immortal Realms offers our congratulations to the Ancient Godly Monarch.” In yet another scene, Donghuang Ying stood at the head of her clan, leading them in greeting. Her internal emotions were impossible to decipher.
Voices echoed across the thirty-three immortal realms, filling the particle world with sound. Every living soul was offering their well-wishes, looking toward the particle world with heartfelt respect. This was the man who had saved them all during the great war.
With a heavy thud, the two immortals collapsed to the ground, prostrating themselves fully. Their bodies shook with fear. How could they not realize his identity now?
In the entire universe, only one person commanded such absolute respect from the thirty-three immortal realms.
The Heaven Empyrean, the legend of Azure Mystic, and their ultimate symbol of faith. Everyone in the Azure Mystic Immortal Realms worshipped this legendary figure.
He was also known by another title – the Ancient Godly Monarch.
He was the unrivaled ruler of the thirty-three immortal realms and the nine heavenly layers.
He was a supreme god, an existence that stood above even godkings. And yet, they had met him here—and had even tried to steal his woman for their own son.
As they lay on the ground, their prostration was born of more than just terror; it was a mix of shock and overwhelming excitement. The Ancient Godly Monarch was standing right in front of them.
Who in the Azure Mystic Immortal Realms didn't dream of meeting Heaven Empyrean Qin Wentian?
“Sir, you have returned.” Some of the elders in the particle world spoke up, their bodies trembling as tears fell. They knelt with deep, sincere respect. He had saved their world once before; he had been their god for a long time, and now he was finally back. They never imagined they would see him again, especially not like this. He wasn't just the god of their world anymore—he was the king of gods for all thirty-three immortal realms!
