"I will take this then." Leon spoke as he picked up the pendant of Imorgis from the cloth.
"Ah... That’s useless though, but this one young man. This is a real charm worth your money, it can attract beautiful girls-"
"What’s the price of this ?" Leon asked with a smile as he placed the pendant of Imorgis into his pocket.
"3 bronze coins." The old lady spoke with an unhappy expression.
"There you go, keep the change." Leon spoke as he handed over a silver coin to her.
"W-What !? Are you serious ? I won’t give it back now." The old lady spoke with a shocked expression as she immediately started packing the cloth and charms.
"Yes, Yes... Enjoy." Leon spoke with a smile as he walked away from her.
"Master... Why would you give her a silver coin for such a charm that was worth three bronze coins ?" Rees asked with a confused expression.
"Don’t think too much about it. Whatever I do has a reason behind it. Now, where should we go for those things ? To your vampire friend’s shop, right ?" Leon replied with a neutral expression.
"No, No... those are alchemy materials master. We need to go to a different shop for them." Rees spoke with a neutral expression.
"Well... there is an alchemy shop." Leon spoke as he pointed towards a large building that had a big potion symbol over it and several floors.
"Looks expensive master... I was thinking of finding a smaller shop-"
"Don’t worry, I have enough money. Come on." Leon replied as he started walking towards the building.
"As you command, Master." Rees replied as he started following behind immediately.
...
Both of them reached in front of the building and noticed that two huge orc guards were standing on the entry gate, their hands folded around their large spears and eyes closed.
*Step-Step-Step-Step-Step-Step-Step*
As soon as the orcs heard Leon’s steps, both of them woke up.
Both of them immediately raised their spears and slammed their lower-end against the ground.
*THUD-THUD*
"Hmm...? What do you want human ?" The orcs asked as they looked at Leon.
"I want to buy some alchemy materials." Leon replied with a smile as he looked at the orcs.
"In order to go inside you need to show us a gold coin or entry will not be permitted." The other orc spoke as he looked at Leon.
’Well, I am not in the mood to fuck around.’ Leon thought as he immediately placed his hand inside his pocket and pulled out a gold coin.
As soon as the orcs saw the gold coin, they immediately bowed down to Leon.
"Please enter inside prestige guest, we are very sorry for our behaviour. Hope you can forgive us." Both of them spoke at the same time.
’No matter what world... Money never fails to surprise me.’ Leon thought with a smile as he entered inside the building and Rees followed behind.
...
As soon as they entered inside, Leon looked around and noticed a huge hall filled with demons, humans, Elfs, dwarfs and monsters from every race.
"Welcome to Al’s Alchemy Firm, esteemed Guests. What would you like to buy today ?" A hob-goblin spoke as he walked upto Leon and bowed down slightly.
He wore a red suit just like the other attendants who were escorting the other customers.
’A hob-goblin can be this calm ? I have killed so many of them. They weren’t this humble.’ Leon thought with a neutral expression as he stared at him.
"Sir ?" The Hob-goblin asked with a confused expression as he looked at Leon.
"Oh right... Rees, tell him." Leon replied as he stopped thinking and turned to look at Rees.
"We want these things." Rees spoke as he handed over a small piece of paper to the Hob-goblin.
"Hylius tree’s old barks three hundred grams , ten goblin eyes and five hundred grams of greolas wax.
I understand sir, the materials will be arranged in a short while. Until then would you like to come and see some of our new products ? We just re-stocked the best potions and artifacts." The Hob-goblin spoke with a smile.
"Yeah sure but get the materials fast, we don’t have that much time." Leon replied with a neutral expression.
"Only ten minutes will it take, sir. Please follow me." The Hob-goblin spoke as he started walking towards the centre of the hall.
Leon and Rees started following him.
...
In the middle of the hall, there were seven blue glowing crystal balls sitting over red velvet cousins on small white pillars.
The attendants were walking upto the crystal balls with customers and as soon as they touched the crystal balls, they dissapeared immediately.
"Please place your hand over the crystal ball and you will be teleported to our newly stocked floor." The Hob-goblin spoke with a neutral expression as he pointed towards the crystal ball.
Leon walked forward and touched the crystal ball without thinking much.
*Swish*
....
Fourth Floor, Al’s Alchemy Firm,
*Swish*
Leon re-appeared inside the hall and looked around only to notice hundreds of potions and artifacts sitting inside glass boxes with their descriptions written under them.
*Swish-Swish*
Rees appeared right behind Leon and then the Hob-goblin.
"Please take a look at this potion, sir. This is a very convenient thing to keep in your bag, when smashed on the ground it can cover upto three kilometres around you in a dense fog, almost important to see.
It works on a chain reaction that uses the mana in the environment to create the fog." The Hob-goblin spoke as he pointed towards a colourless potion.
Leon looked at the potion and used his skill on it.
<Inspect>
[Name: Fogger Potion]
[Rank: D]
[Description: Made from specific materials to react with environment’s wild mana and create dense fog in a three kilometre radius around the user. The released fog can’t be blown away with D-rank or lower spells as it will continue to re-generate for the next 30 minutes.]
"I will take this." Leon spoke with a smile.
"Yes, Sir. How many would you like ?"
"Give me ten."
"As your wish, sir. There are more potions like this one here and artifacts are on that side, you can roam freely and please call me as soon as you find anything that pleases you. I will be waiting here, Sir."
"Rees... Let’s do some shopping." Leon spoke with a smile.
