Leon was trapped in an illusion and attacked by a powerful creature, forcing him to retreat into his soul realm. There, he met Nexus, who revealed the creature was a demon named Ragal. Ragal explained he had a deal with Nexus to protect the soul realm in exchange for freedom, and he easily dispatched the creature Leon was fighting. However, the soul realm is now under attack by thousands of monsters, and Leon, unable to fight yet, must rely on Ragal and Nexus.

The Soul Realm unfurled as an endless, eerie expanse, a mental landscape shaped by subconscious thought. It presented a terrain of sharp peaks and profound, dim valleys, where the very ground seemed less like solid earth and more like a physical manifestation of memories.

A thick, stagnant atmosphere hung heavy, laden with the foreboding sense of an approaching tempest. From the mountain summit where Leon and Nexus stood, the horizon was completely obscured by a dense, unnatural fog. This mist wasn't merely a visual barrier; it felt like a living shroud, stealthily advancing from the valley before them with a predatory stillness.

From the swirling mist, the nightmares began to materialize. They emerged in successive waves—grotesque beings of warped flesh and fractured bone, their appearances defying the natural order.

Most were ghastly, crouching abominations that emitted hungry growls for consciousness. However, towering over the common rank were two colossal entities, so immense they dwarfed the surrounding mountains, their heads piercing the low-hanging clouds of this realm.

"Well... Those are some really big ass monsters," Leon remarked, his expression remaining impassive despite the sheer magnitude of the threat.

Abruptly, the environment behind him seemed to react to his presence. The jagged stones of the peak started to grind and shift, sliding against each other with a rhythmic clatter, coalescing to form an imposing throne with a high back.

"Please, take a seat Sir," Nexus stated, gesturing towards the newly formed throne.

"Okay," Leon responded with a neutral look as he settled onto the cold stone seat.

"Leon Luster..." A powerful voice, sharp and piercing, sliced through the mist like a honed blade.

Leon immediately turned towards the sound's origin, observing a woman emerging from the white haze. She was clad in a white robe, and nine white tails stood erect and rigid behind her. In her hand, she held a small folding fan, which she waved before her face in a gesture suggesting mock sophistication.

"A nine-tails..." Leon murmured in a low tone.

"It is a creature I selected from your mind... You apparently find it quite terrifying for some reason," she taunted, displaying a wide, predatory smile that revealed her fangs.

"Fucking bitch," Leon spat out in anger, gripping the stone armrest of the throne tightly.

"I will seize control of your soul realm, and then your consciousness will have nowhere to flee. It shall be mine, and mine alone, forever," she declared with a wicked grin, her gaze fixed upon Leon.

"RAGAL..." Leon bellowed, rising from the throne. His eyes widened in extreme fury.

"Hmm...?" Ragal looked up at Leon instantly, a look of confusion on his face.

"... I WANT THAT BITCH’S HEAD," he roared, pointing dramatically at the nine-tails.

"Who? Her? Very well then... She is my target now," Ragal responded, drawing his blades and launching himself towards the horde of monsters.

"Kill," the nine-tails commanded with a smile, raising her hand towards Ragal.

*GRAAHHHHHHHHHH*

The valley roared to life as every monster concealed within the mist immediately began charging towards Ragal.

"Come come comeeeeeeee... HUP..." Ragal shouted, leaping from his position and effortlessly clearing the initial wave. The monsters paused their advance, looking up to see Ragal descending upon them from above.

*THUD*

*BOOOOOOOOM*

The moment he struck the ground, a shockwave of raw power radiated outwards. All the monsters within a hundred-meter radius were instantly annihilated, reduced to mere ashes by the sheer force unleashed.

"COME ON MOTHERFUCKERS," Ragal bellowed, raising his swords towards the remaining monsters. Without a second's delay, the horde surged forward once more.

"BLOOD VIPER."

Ragal declared as he activated his ability. He thrust both his swords into the air and slashed vertically, carving two deep gashes into the atmosphere. Two enormous crimson vipers emerged from his blades, circling him in clockwise and counter-clockwise patterns.

"HISSSSSSSSSSSSS..."

"HISSSSSSSSSSSSS...."

Upon contact with the monsters, the vipers turned them instantly into dust.

"Fucking Hell. He really is one strong bastard," Leon commented with a serious expression, observing Ragal from his elevated vantage point.

"I am coming for you bitch," Ragal proclaimed with a maniacal grin, his eyes locked onto the nine-tails.

"KILL HIM," the nine-tails shrieked, looking down at Ragal.

*GRAAAAHHHHHHH...*

A monstrous, ogre-like creature began to charge towards Ragal, aiming to intercept him.

"I don’t want to fight you bugs... Get out of my way," Ragal stated dismissively, instantly vanishing from his spot and reappearing behind the hulking monster.

*Slash-Slash-Slash-Slash*

The monster was swiftly bisected into four sections, dissolving into ashes as it disappeared.

"GAWWWHHHHHHHHHH..." Two colossal beasts, dwarfing the surrounding mountains, began their advance toward Ragal. One wielded a spiked metal club, while the other brandished a massive trident.

"They appear significantly larger than him," Leon observed, his expression grave.

"Sir Leon... No monstrous entity can overcome Ragal," Nexus responded evenly.

"What do you mean?" Leon inquired, bewildered.

"Ragal's arrogance is his shield, Sir. These creatures are constructs of illusion. Having never faced defeat in his entire existence, Ragal simply cannot conceive that anything could be superior to him. Illusory power only takes hold when the target harbors self-doubt, but Ragal is fueled entirely by his boundless conceit. He will never concede defeat; therefore, these monsters are incapable of vanquishing him," Nexus elucidated, his gaze fixed on Leon.

’So this bastard is winning purely because he refuses to believe any creature or army in existence can possibly best him?’ Leon mused, his brow furrowed in thought as he turned his attention back to Ragal.

"HUAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...." With ferocious roars, the twin demons raised their formidable weapons skyward, unleashing them upon Ragal with the full might of their attack.

*SWISSSH*

*SWISSHHH*

"Heh... The greater the size, the more resounding the fall," Ragal quipped, a broad grin spreading across his face. He vanished from his spot, instantly reappearing behind the leg of one of the colossal beings.

*SLASH-SLASH-SLASH-SLASH*

Wasting no further time, he executed a flurry of strikes against both of the creatures' legs. He then vanished once more, materializing behind the other monster's limb and repeating the swift assault.

*SLASH-SLASH-SLASH-SLASH*

Both titanic entities instantly lost their footing, crashing to the earth with immense force.

*THUDDDDDDDD*

*THUDDDDDDDD*

The instant their massive forms impacted the ground, their bodies dissolved into mere dust.

’How could my illusions possibly fail in such a manner?’ the nine-tails pondered, observing Ragal with disbelief.

"You are next," Ragal declared, his form dissolving from view only to reappear directly behind her.
