"Your instincts were correct... It was perilous in there, but not anymore. I’ve made a new acquaintance. He’s quite significant," Leon said, rising to his feet with a grin.

"Master... Your aura..." Dusk uttered, his eyes glowing a brilliant blue as he detected a distinct change in Leon.

"What about it?" Leon asked, his tone indifferent.

"It’s changed so drastically..." Dusk replied, astonishment etched on his face.

"Yeah... I eliminated an SS-rank monster. That must be the reason," Leon stated matter-of-factly, turning to face the staircase ascending upwards.

"Master... H-How did you defeat an SS-rank monster?" Dusk stammered, a mixture of fear and shock in his voice.

"It’s a lengthy account... However, I’ve discovered a means to escape this dungeon. It’s on the seventh floor, but we must first return to the first floor," Leon said, his mind already racing with possibilities.

’Making my weight zero might work, but it will be nullified the moment I step onto the twenty-eighth step. Wait... Can I devise a spell to counteract it?’ Leon pondered, immediately activating a skill.

Instantly, two pure white magic circles materialized, one hovering behind and one in front of his hand.

A moment later, the forward magic circle began emitting white lasers, scanning the steps of the staircase as if performing a detailed analysis.
