Leon summoned Elis for a throne and crafted the 'Electric Shocks' skill to interrogate the defiant Alren. He exposed nerves under Alren's nail and applied escalating voltages through direct contact, eliciting agonized screams and convulsions. Alren broke and confessed loyalty to Madam Luna R. Stark, the King's third wife, only for Leon to execute him with a lethal surge as Dreulis and Rees arrived.

*THUD*

Leon released Alren’s lifeless corpse and settled onto the throne, maintaining a neutral look on his face.

"Well... Can I take his body for some research purposes?" Dreulis inquired while glancing at Leon.

"Okay." Leon responded as he shifted his gaze toward Dreulis.

"Thank you..." Dreulis said before quickly freeing his hands from the stone chair and vanishing along with the body.

*Swish*

"Master... what should we do about the king’s wife? She knows where we all live." Rees stated calmly while eyeing Leon.

"Should I go and kill her, Master?" Fruela questioned, her face serious.

"She is a queen, not some stupid girl walking on the streets; it’s not easy to kill her or even touch her unless she’s inside that castle. Fruela... You will go and sit outside the castle and keep an eye on her for the next few days.

If she gets out, follow her and silently observe. Don’t take any actions. Report back to me if you see anything unusual." Leon ordered.

"Yes, Master." Fruela replied before vanishing from the room right away.

"Rees, I need you to read this and tell me if you find anything interesting." Leon said as he drew out Dreulis’ grimoire and passed it to Rees.

"As you command, Master." Rees acknowledged, taking the grimoire and vanishing in an instant.

"I need to get stronger." Leon muttered softly while rising from the chair and lifting the Nyxter into his grasp.

’I have to summon more creatures from hell and for that, I need corpses and Mana cores. Although I have more than enough money to buy mana cores from the Adventurer’s Guild, but I doubt they will have anything above C-rank and if I bought so many cores at once, I will attract a whole lot of attention.’ Leon pondered with a neutral expression before disappearing from the floor.

...

Fourth Floor,

Dusk rested soundly on the floor, free of any concerns.

*Swish*

*Clap-Clap*

"Dusk, wake up." Leon called out while clapping his hands.

"Hmm...? Master? Are we getting invaded?" Dusk wondered as he jolted awake and scanned the surroundings.

"No, we are going on a hunt. Let’s go." Leon answered calmly.

"Hunt? As in monster hunt, Master?" Dusk asked, looking puzzled.

"Yes... We are going deep into the forest so the return might take a while. So be prepared." Leon stated with a neutral look.

"Always prepared, Master." Dusk responded as he approached Leon.

"Good." Leon said while placing his hand on Dusk’s head, and the two vanished together at once.

...

Human Kingdom’s Church,

A couple stood within the church, conversing with Sister Miola.

The man appeared to be in his thirties, while his wife seemed younger, in her twenties, though her face was pale and an apron was tied around her head.

They both wore respectable attire, akin to that of a four-star noble family.

"Sister... She is getting worse day by day, no matter how much holy water I give her. Almost all of her hairs have fallen off and I can’t see her like this. Please let us meet Mother Carrie." The husband pleaded, his face filled with worry and sadness.

"I can understand your worries but Mother Carrie is busy with tomorrow’s preparations. Please come back tomorrow. I will make sure that once the festival ends, she will see both of you immediately.

Until then... Here, have some more holy water and wear this." Miola replied as she removed her holy necklace and handed it to the ill woman.

"T-Thank you... *Cough-Cough-Cough* Thank you, Sister." She responded, forcing a smile onto her face.

"We will take our leave now, Sister." They both said before turning and exiting the church together.

Miola turned and departed as well, a sad expression on her face.

...

Outside the church, the couple headed back toward their home.

"Darling, I will be alright. You don’t have to worry about me too much. I will get better once we meet Mother Carrie." The wife assured him with a smile.

"Y-Yeah..." Her husband answered with a strained smile, though he felt far from happy.

"You won’t get better at all. Not from that condition." A voice rang out from behind them.

"Hmm...?" They both spun around and spotted a nun standing there. She was petite with blonde hair.

This nun was none other than Terisa.

"W-Who are you, sister?" The husband asked, looking baffled.

"Who even cares about me? You should care about what I have on me." She answered with a smile.

"What?" They both exclaimed, confusion on their faces.

"I have the cure for your wife’s condition." She stated.

"What!?" The husband blurted out, his eyes widening in shock as his expression turned grave.

"A-Are you serious, Sister?" He pressed.

"I'm pretty sure that once she swallows this... she'll snap back to normal right away." Terisa declared while drawing a black pill from her pocket.

The husband responded, "T-Then... Please give it to us, Sister," as he began stepping toward the pill.

"First, we need to speak privately," Terisa stated, swiftly tucking the pill away again.

"Y-Yes... Please follow us. Our home is nearby," the wife said, her face showing no emotion.

...

Within the dining room of their house,

Pointing at the man, Terisa inquired, "What are your names? How many kids do you have?"

"I am Tinter Durden and this is my wife, Lisa Durden. As you can see we are just a small four star noble household.

I don’t have any children due to my wife’s condition, but I love her more than myself and I want to save her at any cost, Sister." Tinter answered without delay.

"Good... I've got this pill to heal your wife, but it won't come free. Understand?" Terisa questioned, her expression neutral.

"B-But... Aren’t you a nun? And we give big donations to the church every month. I-I just donated like 3 silver coins." Tinter stammered, utterly puzzled.

"Okay... What are you prepared to do for your wife? Correction... your dying wife?" Terisa inquired, a smile playing on her lips.

"Anything... I will pay you with everything I have. Just give me the pill, Sister." His face turned deadly serious as he spoke.

"I don’t want gold or silver coins. I just want a tiny thing. I want you to change your house, your kingdom and your church." Terisa responded, smiling.

"W-What!?" Shocked and bewildered, both of them cried out.
