"Is the identity of Young Madam Huo definitively confirmed?" a voice inquired from a dark corner, addressing a subordinate.

"Yes, it's practically confirmed," the subordinate responded. "A significant number of people within the production crew are already privy to this information."

Upon receiving this confirmation, the individual in the corner's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Excellent, truly excellent. This verifies the accuracy of the intel I've gathered."

"Regarding your previous inquiry, are you certain that Young Madam Huo will not be attending today?" the person further questioned.

"Indeed, she will not be present." The subordinate nodded his assent. "Young Madam Huo has entrusted the tickets she received from the production crew to Second Young Master Ou and his companion."

"Ah, is that so?" Upon hearing this development, the individual in the corner declared, "In that case, let us proceed to extend our greetings. After all, Second Young Master Ou conducts business in G City, and future interactions between us are highly probable."

"Understood, sir," the subordinate acknowledged.

Following their exchange, the person in the corner rose, awaited their subordinate, and together they made their way towards Ou Cong and Xiao Jingqi.

"Second Young Master Ou!" The individual's cheerful voice carried across the distance as they spotted Ou Cong.

"Guo... Mr. Guo?" Ou Cong expressed mild surprise at the sight of the approaching figure. "What brings Mr. Guo here today?"

Indeed, the approaching figure was none other than the esteemed Mr. Guo Jiumin.

Although Guo Jiumin was the much younger son of the elder Master Guo, he still held a considerable age advantage over Ou Cong and his peers.

Mrs. Ou, having perceived Xiao Jingqi's affection for her eldest son, initially experienced a moment of stunned silence.

Upon fully grasping the implications, Mrs. Ou quickly beamed and exclaimed, "Oh, this is wonderful news!"

Clapping her hands together, she declared, "Shuqin is a fine individual, and Jingqi is equally commendable. Both have formed such a strong bond with our Chuyi!"

"If they were to truly become one family, it would be an absolutely marvelous outcome!"

Hearing her mother's words, Xia Chuyi could only sigh and touch her forehead in exasperation.

*Does Mother not even consider my own feelings when selecting a daughter-in-law?* she thought.

"Mom, there isn't even the slightest indication of such a possibility yet..." Xia Chuyi gently reminded her mother.

"Don't fret, my dear. As long as Jingqi harbors such intentions," Mrs. Ou responded with a warm smile, "it is bound to happen."

"Jingqi, wouldn't you agree?" Mrs. Ou then turned her gaze towards Xiao Jingqi, her smile widening with evident satisfaction.

Though a hint of embarrassment colored her cheeks, Xiao Jingqi replied, blushing slightly, "Yes, Auntie is correct..."

Witnessing this exchange, Xia Chuyi shook her head with a sense of resigned amusement. "Very well, you two continue your conversation. I'm going to find my elder brother."

With that, she departed towards the study to seek out Ou Jun.

Upon seeing Xia Chuyi, Ou Jun immediately inquired, "Chuyi? Is there something you need?"
