Xia Chuyi boosts the director's confidence in their film project by providing a significant investment, leading the director to insist on increasing her share out of gratitude. While the film crew enjoys the newfound financial stability, news arrives of an upcoming wedding between the Wang and Jiang families. During a visit to check on the recovering Wang Zicheng, Xia Chuyi encounters Jiang Shuqin and observes the pair's interactions, sparking questions about the true nature of their impending union.

While Jiang Shuqin and Xia Chuyi were engaged in conversation, they were spotted by Jiang Fengqi from the courtyard.

"Chuyi, Shuqin, why are you two here?" Jiang Fengqi exclaimed, waving at them the moment she caught sight of the pair.

"Sis!"

"Senior Sister Jiang."

The two girls broke off their chat upon hearing her and lifted their hands in acknowledgment.

After their brief exchange, they made their way toward where Jiang Fengqi and Wang Zicheng were standing.

"Just heard that you and Mr. Wang were planning your wedding, so we popped by to see how things were coming along," Xia Chuyi remarked. "Everything going well? Is there anything you need help with?"

Jiang Fengqi flashed a bright smile at the offer. "Thanks so much, Junior Sister, but it won't be necessary. We’ve decided to keep the ceremony low-key."

"It helps to avoid any unnecessary trouble," she added.

Xia Chuyi nodded in understanding. "I see exactly what you mean, Senior Sister."

They both knew that a simple wedding was merely a precaution to ensure no repeat of the previous violent attack.

Satisfied, Xia Chuyi didn't press the matter further.

Watching Jiang Fengqi and Wang Zicheng interact with such ease filled Xia Chuyi with a sense of relief and quiet reflection.

Indeed, Brother Song and Senior Sister Jiang had become like two parallel lines that would never cross again.

After verifying the wedding arrangements and exchanging a few more words, Xia Chuyi took her leave with Jiang Shuqin to avoid overstaying their welcome.

As they walked away, Xia Chuyi inquired about the progress of her studies and the latest news regarding their friends from Room 201.

Once those topics were covered, Jiang Shuqin turned to her and asked, "What about you? How is married life treating you?"

Xia Chuyi, now a married woman, replied with a calm smile, "How is it? You'll find out for yourself once you graduate and settle down with someone."

"Find someone to marry?" Jiang Shuqin stuck out her tongue playfully. "I haven't even found anyone worth dating yet..."

"Oh?" Xia Chuyi asked, surprised. "Are you currently looking for a partner at school?"

"Not at all," Jiang Shuqin clarified, shaking her head. "I just mean that, honestly, most of the guys around are so childish and foolish. It’s just dull!"

Xia Chuyi thought to herself: Was that another dig at your second brother?

After pondering for a moment, she advised, "Shuqin, whether it involves dating or marriage, make sure to think it over carefully and listen to what your heart truly desires."

Taken aback by the uncharacteristic gravity in Xia Chuyi’s voice, Jiang Shuqin felt a bit awkward. "Why the sudden serious tone? Don't worry, I’ll be fine."

Xia Chuyi smiled faintly, hoping her words had struck a chord.

Soon after, they parted ways; one headed back to campus while the other made her way home.

In the weeks that followed, Xia Chuyi split her time between managing her new movie investment and eagerly awaiting the premiere of "Struggle."

Once "Struggle" hit the screens, the Youwei promotional campaign she and her team had planned would finally commence.

However, before the film’s debut, the day of Jiang Fengqi’s wedding arrived.

As predicted, the ceremony was kept very modest.

Security was incredibly tight to ensure that no untoward incidents from the past would occur again.

To her own surprise, Xia Chuyi spotted Song Zhicheng among the wedding guests.

"Brother Song?" she whispered in genuine shock.

"Chuyi, Brother Huo." Song Zhicheng appeared remarkably composed as he greeted them.
