Aishe Moon Song agreed to help Garrett with his research after visiting the Jasmine couple at the port. Along the way, Aishe taught Garrett and his companions about surviving in the wilderness. Upon reaching the port, Garrett spotted a ship with a black flag on the horizon, potentially signaling pirates, prompting him and Bernard to report to the Mage Tower before heading to warn Uncle Hawthorn and Sister Jasmine.

Garrett Nordmark dashed into the adventure supply shop, eager to share the news. Thankfully, he retained some sense and refrained from shouting. Instead, he used a Message Spell to relay his message directly to the ears of Mr. and Mrs. Hawthorn—

The shop had customers, and it wouldn't do to disturb their business.

Mr. Hawthorn paused momentarily, glanced at Garrett, then turned back to continue haggling with a customer. Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn, however, put down her work and cheerfully greeted them:

"Master Nordmark, Miss Cirilla, Mr. Bernard, and this lady... Come, come, sit over here! It must have been tiring in this weather. Would you like a cold drink? Recently, I've mixed a special drink with tequila, mint, and cactus..."

As she spoke, she led them to the dining area and took out a five-liter stainless steel jug. With a casual flick of her finger, she cast a Water Creation Spell, filling the jug with water. Another flick sent a Freezing Ray into the jug.

The water began to freeze, forming tiny ice beads instead of freezing solid, demonstrating Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn's precise control over her magic.

With one hand freezing the water, her other hand summoned thick tequila leaves, vibrant green mint leaves, and purple-red cactus fruits into the jug. Each ingredient was peeled, sliced, and juiced as necessary along the way...

Then, Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn picked up the jug and performed a dazzling series of operations. The cold jug produced a symphony of crisp sounds as the colorful, cool drink poured itself into everyone's cups.

"Come, try it," Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn said with a smile, taking a cup herself and sitting opposite them. Cirilla took small sips, while Garrett grew anxious:

"Hey—"

"Hey, it's fine," Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn waved dismissively. "You'll get used to it here. This port always sees a few black-flagged ships each month. Even pirates need a place for supplies and repairs. Relax, the Mage Tower is watching."

Garrett relaxed a little. Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn gave him a careful look and suddenly smiled:

"Besides, with you and Miss Cirilla here, what's one pirate ship to worry about?"

"Yeah! Yeah!" Cirilla nodded vigorously, chewing on ice cubes. Pirates? Unless they had a powerhouse of level 17 or above, Cirilla, the young lady, would kill as many as came!

Just then, another group of customers entered. Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn quickly rose to greet them, leaving Garrett feeling like something popped in his ear, bringing in the sounds of footsteps, conversations, and bustling noises from outside:

"Boss, how much for this jug?"

"Ten gold coins."

"So expensive?!"

"Hey, this jug is made from the hide of a Hagen Beast, tanned whole, and the seams are sealed with a Repair Spell, so not a drop leaks. See this lid? It comes with a filter, so even unboiled water filtered through it is safe to drink without causing diarrhea."

The customer grumbled, but Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn's nimble steps brought her over:

"Dear customer, how many people are in your group? Buy ten jugs, and each jug comes with an extra filter and a packet of water purifying agent. A day of diarrhea and your combat power is gone..."

Under her persuasive words, the group of adventurers each bought a jug. Then it was single-person mosquito nets for fifteen gold coins each;

Herbs that repel mosquitoes when burned, for one silver coin a bundle;

Mosquito-repellent lotion for one gold coin a bottle...

The adventurers' faces turned green from the cost. Before they could protest, another group of people rushed in:

"Madam, do you buy goods?"

"Yes, yes!" Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn moved to the side counter. There were sounds of "clang" and "clatter" as batches of pelts, bones, horns, and plants were placed on the counter. Then came Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn's pricing:

"Oh, this snakeskin is well-preserved, fifty gold coins!"

"These feathers are a bit damaged... let's see... the intact ones are one gold coin each, the damaged ones will be weighed, ten gold coins a pound!"

"This Golden Beauty... what a pity, it wasn't harvested at the right time and its root is broken, only ten gold coins. Remember, keep it intact next time, and I'll pay one hundred gold coins!"

The customers buying adventure gear looked at each other and rushed over, eyes gleaming. Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn swiftly settled the goods and paid in coins, handing out bags of gold:

Money!

It was all money!

These adventurers, with numbers similar to theirs and slightly less skill, went into the jungle and came out with several thousand gold coins!

"Madam, will the purchase prices for these goods change this month?"

"Not this month. There's a price list on the counter, feel free to copy it." Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn smiled sweetly:

"And there's a catalog with pictures, one hundred gold coins each, available for purchase~~~"

Garrett sipped his tequila ice water, watching as three adventurers bought the expensive catalogs.

They noisily exited the shop, two of them went to get water and food, preparing to enter the jungle, while the other ran towards the port with the beautifully illustrated catalog:

"Sister Jasmine, can these things be sold too?"

"Yes!"

Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn finished organizing the goods and returned to chat with them. When Garrett asked, she confidently smiled:

"These things can't be hidden. The port's size, how many ships it can dock, the Mage Tower's size, the number of houses and people, food prices, it's all impossible to hide. Besides, most adventurers just want to make money peacefully—"

She poured herself a glass of ice water and looked towards the Mage Tower:

"I know what you're going to say. We've had a dozen groups come to investigate recently. Small pirate crews, the Mage Tower, and people like us can handle them; if the Radiant Church's army comes, we have our ways to deal with them. Don't worry!"

Garrett shrugged, saying nothing more. Though Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn's tone was calm, it reminded him of a song from his previous life:

"When friends come, there's fine wine; if the wolves come, there's a shotgun waiting~~~"

As long as they could handle it. With the terrain advantage and the support of the natives, there was nothing they couldn't take down. Even if the Church had experts, the Eagle God's Kingdom had its own.

He remained silent, and Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn smiled lightly, her bright eyes turning to Aishe Moon Song. The elf sat casually, poking at her drink with a reed straw.

Her ranger's spear leaned against the table, appearing as a simple wooden spear, but the deadly aura at its tip showed her extraordinary skill.

Mrs. Jasmine Hawthorn glanced at it, then smiled at the elf:

"By the way, how should I address you?"

"Aishe Moon Song, pleased to meet you."
