A Cunning Pervert in the Cultivation World Chapter 571: "...I’m looking forward to that."
Previously on A Cunning Pervert in the Cultivation World...
Li Feng froze.
With great effort, he struggled to lift his head.
What entered his fading vision was... Yue Lan’s worried face.
Her golden eyes were filled with clear alarm as she supported him, her voice breaking with urgency as she saw Li Feng’s twisted, pain-filled expression.
"Li Feng! What’s wrong?! Are you okay?!"
Yue Lan’s heart was still racing.
Only a short while ago she had been inside the Divine Brick’s world, when a sharp unease suddenly rose in her chest.
It was vague at first, but it kept growing stronger, enough that she could no longer sit still.
She pressed the Divine Brick again and again, insisting something was wrong outside.
The Divine Brick resisted at first, reluctant to release her into whatever chaos was happening beyond its world.
After all, if something happened to this woman, it would not have any face left—oh wait, it didn’t have a face.
Anyway, if something happened, the Divine Brick wasn’t sure how it would face its master.
But still... after sensing that the world outside was safe, the Divine Brick finally relented and let her out.
And the first thing Yue Lan saw left her stunned.
The capital was no longer burning.
The stench of death and ash was gone.
It looked as if the disaster and the flames had never happened in the first place.
And then she found him...
The dark cloak around him looked out of place against the restored surroundings, and the expression on his face was one she had never seen so clearly before... raw, strained, and fading.
For some reason, her heart ached after seeing that expression on his face.
That was why her voice had broken when she called his name.
"Li Feng! Tell me what’s wrong!"
"..."
Li Feng did not answer at once.
He only stared at her... at the face he had lost, at the presence he had carried as regret for far too long.
A fragile, almost dazed murmur finally left his lips, yet at the same time it was full of sincerity and happiness.
"...You’re still as beautiful as the day I lost you."
"Eh?"
With that, Li Feng lost consciousness as his head lowered.
"Li Feng!"
Yue Lan’s shout rang out as his body went limp and he fainted into her arms.

Once more, there was only an empty white space.
Two figures stood within it.
One wore tattered white, his expression complicated as he stared straight ahead.
The other stood in black, dark cloak still hanging from his shoulders, empty eyes calm yet carrying the weight of everything he had just done.
The original Li Feng and his future self faced each other again in silence.
"..."
"..."
Neither spoke at first.
After a long moment, it was the original Li Feng who finally opened his mouth.
He let out a sigh, scratched the back of his head, and said softly,
"...I don’t know what happened to you."
His voice was neither accusing nor light.
It simply carried the complicated feelings of someone who had only caught fragments of a much longer, much darker road.
"I don’t know how much you’ve suffered... or what kind of experiences forced you to become like this."
"..."
The black-cloaked Li Feng listened in silence, offering no interruption, no denial, and no explanation.
The original Li Feng drew in a quiet breath, then continued.
His tone was calm, yet the expression on his face had brightened with a clear, unshaken resolve.
"...But I will never walk the same path as you."
He said it without hesitation.
Looking at the future version of himself, he felt no fear... and he didn’t try to soften the declaration either.
It was simply a choice.
And yet...
After a moment of silence, the original Li Feng slowly lowered his head and bowed.
"...But thank you," he said.
His voice was steady, carrying only genuine gratitude.
"Thank you for coming when I used that card. Thank you for fighting in my place when I couldn’t. And thank you... for choosing to save them."
He remained bowed for a brief moment longer before continuing more quietly.
"I don’t know how heavy the path you walked was, or how many things you had to cut down along the way. But because of what you did here... a lot of people who should have disappeared are still alive. Including people who matter to me."
Straightening up, he looked directly at the black-cloaked figure with a clear, sincere expression.
"So truly, thank you."
For a moment, the black-cloaked Li Feng remained silent under that sincere bow and those earnest words.
Then, unexpectedly, the corner of his lips lifted.
A faint smile appeared on his face before a low chuckle escaped him.
"...Man," he said, shaking his head slightly, "it sure is kinda weird seeing myself thanking me."
His empty eyes carried a rare trace amusement as he continued,
"It’s kinda gross in some way, to be honest."
With that single remark, the heavy and solemn atmosphere that had filled the white space broke at once.
The original Li Feng’s mouth twitched as he shouted.
"Hey! I am trying to be serious for once!"
The future Li Feng only chuckled again, the sound low and faintly amused as he regarded his younger self with those empty... yet no longer completely lifeless eyes.
"I know," he replied casually. "That’s exactly what makes it weirder."
Then the black-cloaked Li Feng’s existence flickered.
He looked down at his own hand as the edges of his figure grew faintly unstable, the connection sustaining him within this time clearly reaching its limit.
The original Li Feng noticed at once.
"You..."
The earlier annoyance faded from his face, replaced by a quiet sadness he did not bother to hide.
Seeing that expression, the future Li Feng let out a light laugh.
"There’s no need to worry about me. After all, I’m not from this time." he said casually.
But then he paused.
When he spoke again, his voice had softened.
"...And I also want to thank you too."
His dark eyes rested on his younger self with a rare, gentle clarity.
"...For showing me such a beautiful version of myself."
The original Li Feng bit his lip at those words, unable to immediately reply.
The black-cloaked figure, however, soon returned to his usual casual tone, as if the earlier softness had only been a brief lapse.
"I reversed time, but it isn’t perfect. Those who were injured will remain injured, and those who were ill will still remain ill."
"The good thing is that after the False Crown devoured the contaminated fortune, the dynasty can now produce new fortune again. The people who were revived will no longer have that hidden plague inside them. In time, this torn dynasty should be able to regain its former glory."
He paused slightly before adding,
"As for that Venerable Realmwalker... I left a little gift inside her body. She shouldn’t pose any problem for you for quite a long while."
Then he smirked slightly, trying to ease the heavy atmosphere after seeing Li Feng face.
"And make sure to get all of those high and aloof cold fairy elders in the sect. You have no idea how amazing they are once you train them. But their attitude is going to be a pain to deal with at first."
But then, as if remembering something, he paused before softly murmuring,
"But at the same time... treat them well. They are very easy to please and handle, so at least just indulge them on that."
"..."
The original Li Feng listened in silence, taking in every word.
Then the black-cloaked figure began to flicker more noticeably.
Faint motes of light slowly drifted away from his body, peeling off into the empty white space like fragments of an existence that had already stayed past its limit.
He looked down at his fading hand and murmured softly,
"...Oh. It’s time. Too bad... I really wanted to check out the sect a bit."
Without another explanation, he turned his back and began walking toward the distant white expanse.
But after a few steps, he paused.
Looking back over his shoulder, he saw the original Li Feng still standing there in silence, eyes slightly teary despite the effort to keep his expression steady.
A low chuckle escaped the fading figure.
"...And by the way."
His voice was calm, almost light.
"When you said you’d make sure not to walk the same path as me... I was happy to hear that."
"And also glad that I got to see myself... happy."
"So... just be you."
"Keep walking the road that feels right under your feet."
"Laugh when you want to laugh."
"Chase what still sets your heart on fire."
"And live fully, without second-guessing yourself."
"That... is what made me happiest of all."
With that, he turned back around and continued walking, as if saying that much was already a bit too much for him.
The original Li Feng’s hands clenched at his sides.
Then, as if unable to let the fading figure leave on such a heavy note, he suddenly shouted after him with all the stubborn brightness he still possessed.
His voice came out from the top of his lungs.
"Hey!!! Just you wait!!"
His voice exploded through the empty white space, raw and completely unrestrained.
"I’m going to have a hundred wives and a thousand concubines!! I’ll fill my entire future with so much happiness and blessings that there won’t be a single empty corner left!!"
His chest heaved as he kept shouting, almost laughing through it.
"And... and I’ll have so many children that my future self won’t even have a second to feel lonely or depressed!! I’ll be too busy living... too busy loving... too busy being happy!!"
At those words, the black-cloaked Li Feng chuckled softly.
Without turning his head, he casually raised one hand and waved.
"...I’m looking forward to that."
Those were his final words.
He continued walking into the distant white expanse.
With every step, motes of light began peeling away from his form... first from the edges of his cloak, then from his shoulders, his hair, his very silhouette.
The dark fabric, the empty dark eyes, and the crushing weight of more than a million years slowly unraveled, dissolving into the brightness around him.
In the end, nothing remained of him but the lingering echo of that last, faintly amused farewell... soft, warm, and already fading into silence.
The original Li Feng stood alone in the white space for a while longer, staring at the place where his future self had disappeared.
The tears at the corners of his eyes had not fully dried, yet the shout he had just given still hung in the air like a promise he now had no choice but to keep.
When the white space finally faded, what waited beyond it was no longer a dead dynasty or a battlefield of ash.
It was a living world.
A torn land given back its people.
A future not yet locked into the same regrets.
And a young man who had just been shown both the path he must not walk... and the reason he still could choose otherwise.
Then Li Feng vision slipped away, and everything went dark.
