100\% DROP RATE : Why is My Inventory Always so Full? Chapter 801 - Problem

The continental reunification continued without any dramatic rush.
After the first successful adjustment, the formation arrays were allowed to gather energy again while the affected regions settled.
The Collegium checked the crust, Tidewatch followed the altered currents, and the Lunarians made certain the redirected leylines had accepted their temporary paths before Lucien authorized another change.
Only then did the world move again.
Days became weeks.
The individual adjustments remained small, but their effect accumulated.
Sea routes shortened.
Navigation charts changed.
The distance between several continental shelves became visibly smaller even to ordinary measurements.
People across the five continents began following the progress with surprising enthusiasm. Predictions appeared over which continents would touch first, and before long someone had apparently turned those predictions into an unofficial betting pool.
Lucien made a deliberate decision not to investigate.
He already knew the Thousand Races well enough.
Eventually, the first major milestone arrived beneath the sea.
Two ancient continental shelves approached closely enough that Space no longer needed to carry them farther.
Lilith descended with Lucien and Eirene.
Genesis Forging entered stone that had been separated since the Millennia War, following remnants of the ancient connection instead of forcing two unrelated structures together.
The old fracture slowly accepted pressure from both sides.
Once the physical connection stabilized, Eirene allowed a thin portion of the separated leylines to cross through it.
The flow held.
More followed.
For the first time in thousands of years, two pieces of the ancient supercontinent were connected again.
The joining remained deep below the ocean, invisible to almost everyone living above.
Lucien still stood there for a while.
It was small compared with what they intended to accomplish.
It was also proof that the plan worked.
After that, the operation developed its own rhythm.
Lucien guided the spatial changes only when the formations had accumulated enough energy and every monitoring group agreed that the previous stage had stabilized. Lilith gradually restored more sections of the ancient shelves, while the Lunarians replaced temporary leyline paths with permanent connections through the repaired land.
The five continents remained separate.
They simply no longer looked as distant as before.
Then, several weeks after the first joining, the Grandmaster came looking for Lucien.
His expression made it obvious that he was not there to discuss geological stress.
•••
Lucien met him with Aurelia and Elunara.
He had called them the moment the Grandmaster explained what he had sensed.
The projection above the central table showed the five continents and the narrowing seas between them.
The Grandmaster looked at it for several moments.
Then he said, "The futures changed."
Lucien’s expression sharpened.
That statement meant considerably more now than it had before the Parallel Timelines returned.
"What did you see?"
"More danger."
The Grandmaster’s divination had never been suited to watching entire futures unfold with Aurelia’s clarity.
He followed points of failure.
Threats.
Places where a decision became increasingly likely to end badly.
Until recently, the continental project had been remarkably stable after the Keeper network was removed.
Now danger had suddenly appeared across several branches.
Some emerged from the seas.
Others approached the joining regions.
A few reached toward the formation anchors supporting the continental movement.
Lucien stared at the projection.
"Primordial Incarnations?"
"I believe so."
That answer troubled Lucien less than the timing.
Aurelia understood immediately.
"We should have seen this earlier."
Nobody disagreed.
The Primordial Incarnations had existed long before Lucien proposed reunification.
If they intended to interfere simply because five continents were joining together, traces of that possibility should have appeared when Aurelia, Elunara, and the Grandmaster first examined the plan.
Instead, the danger had appeared only now.
Lucien leaned back.
That left several possibilities, and none of them were pleasant.
Either the Incarnations had decided to act only recently...
Or their intentions had been hidden.
•••
The three diviners began immediately.
Aurelia opened the broadest view.
The possible futures spread before her more densely than they had during their previous examination of the continent project.
Some branches showed successful reunification.
Others broke apart before completion.
In several, battles erupted around the seas.
More disturbing were the futures that seemed clear at first and then changed the moment Aurelia tried to follow them deeper.
She opened her eyes.
"Something is responding."
Lucien looked toward her.
"To you?"
"Possibly."
That was enough to make the room quieter.
Elunara chose several commanders connected to the continental project and followed their possible futures.
At first, she found what they expected.
Emergency deployment.
Formation failures.
Troops being redirected toward the coast.
Then she examined another individual.
The future changed.
Not naturally.
The sequence of choices no longer matched the circumstances that should have created them.
Elunara withdrew.
"They... know how to disturb fate?"
Lucien’s expression hardened.
That did not necessarily mean the Primordial Incarnations could see everything the three diviners saw.
It did mean they were not helpless against divination.
That should not have surprised him.
These were manifestations of Primordials.
Expecting them to stand quietly while lesser beings examined their futures would have been arrogant.
The Grandmaster looked toward Aurelia’s projection.
"There is another problem."
He pointed to several branches.
The dangers were inconsistent.
One future showed an attack from the eastern sea.
Another placed the greatest threat in the north.
A third showed nothing near either region and instead ended with a formation anchor failing far inland.
If they treated every vision as straightforward intelligence, they could be manipulated into spreading their forces exactly where the enemy wanted.
Lucien understood.
"So some of these may be bait."
Aurelia nodded slowly.
"And the real path may be one we are being encouraged not to look at."
•••
They continued for hours.
The three diviners no longer tried to discover one correct future.
That approach had become useless against an enemy capable of interfering with what they saw.
Instead, they compared inconsistencies.
Aurelia searched for futures that remained stable even when she approached them from different choices.
Elunara followed separate individuals who should never share the same chain of events and looked for places where their fates unexpectedly converged.
The Grandmaster ignored most of the details and focused on danger that persisted even when the path leading toward it changed.
The result was less satisfying than a clear prophecy.
It was also much harder to deceive.
By the end, several areas remained suspicious.
The seas around the narrowing continental gaps.
A handful of major formation anchors.
Several regions containing old wounds from the Millennia War.
And the new undersea connections Lilith had already begun restoring.
Lucien studied the final projection.
They still could not tell where the Primordial Incarnations would strike.
That was the point.
If the enemy could interfere with divination, then choosing one predicted battlefield would only create another weakness somewhere else.
Lucien smiled faintly.
"Then we stop trying to guess."
Aurelia looked toward him.
Lucien expanded the map until all five continents filled the room.
"Let’s cover everything."
•••
That decision changed the nature of the reunification project.
The movement itself did not stop.
Lucien refused to abandon months of work simply because the Primordial Incarnations had finally noticed it.
The formation arrays continued gathering energy.
The continents continued approaching in controlled stages.
Lilith continued repairing the ancient shelves whenever the next joining region became ready.
But from that moment onward, every stage was treated as if an attack could arrive from any direction.
Especially from the sea.
The Black Mass was still condensing.
Its barrier continued drawing inward.
At almost the same pace, the five continents were drawing together.
Lucien had noticed the parallel before.
Now he wondered whether the Primordial Incarnations had noticed it too.
Perhaps that was why they intended to interfere.
Five separated continents were easier to pressure.
Five defensive regions created more blind spots.
Five governments, five major military theaters, and oceans between them produced weaknesses that a united landmass would gradually erase.
Lucien looked toward the narrowing gaps on the map.
If the Primordial Incarnations wanted those divisions preserved, then the project had become even more worth finishing.
He closed the projection.
"I’ll call out the ancient beasts."
The Grandmaster looked at him.
Lucien’s smile disappeared.
"And prepare the monster army."
The time for hiding all of Lootwell’s strength had passed.
